Pimp my ride!

After spending some quality time with my WR200, i've decided to keep it for good even after 1 year. Firstly, the acceleration is amazing and i've a liking to dirt bikes. I've decided to find one week and do some serious mod to the bike and keep it as street legal as possible. I really can't see any reason to sell it away even after i get 2A licence as the only other bike that i'm really interested in is the Yamaha R1 which is a 1000cc class 2 bike and the Ducati 999R which is a 1000cc bike.

Did some simple calculations with my friend who's a bike guru today and the projected costs for the mods will be almost 2k+.

Which brings me to another problem.

Under normal circumstances, 2k is never a problem. But recently i gave my mom 2.7k for some additional renovation costs and to start an investment account. Then i bought my bike at 2k and add another $700 for insurance. That makes 5.4k. Then i bought a Fox Racing Pilot helmet with a pair of Oakley Crowbar googles which is actually necessary because it's supposed to protect my damn head and the other $50 cheapo stuff isn't going to do the job very well if you really think about it. That makes a total of 6k this month alone. Not forgetting a new handphone which set me back $500. Now i'm left with 1.2k. Sad.

Somewhere out there is my 3k with some loanshark. Yes, loanshark.

Before i was pissed that my uncle did not return me the money that he borrowed from me, giving reasons that his company is in financial difficulties. Recently i found out from my brother and mother that it is not due to company woes but instead he used the money and gambled on horses and soccer and borrowed from loansharks and had no choice but to borrow money from us. Well i was pissed before. Now i'm mad. The reason is simple. I've always wondered why it would take so long to settle his company's problems since he told me that his customers owed him money. Now i know it's all a lie. He's been using our money to gamble all along!

In a few month's time my insurance premium would be due for the year which would set me back 1.6k. It woun't really be a problem because i know i can save more than enough till that period of time. The real kicker is the fact that i have 3k somewhere, unused and i can't get it back.

3k is alot of money. Even banks won't give you a loan without mortgage.

Now i feel like an idiot.
